Reserva del Maestro Madre Cuishe
Reserva del Maestro Madre Cuishe
100% AGAVE
Madre Cuishe is a wild-harvested agave, carefully selected for our exclusive small-batch limited edition release of Reserva del Maestro.
Adapting to the arid and rocky soils of Oaxaca, Madre Cuishe thrives in these harsh conditions that shape its distinct and complex character. Its name, "Madre Cuishe," reflects its role as a central agave within the Karwinskii family, supporting the genetic diversity and growth of related agaves like Bicuishe and Cuishe.
Its fibrous, elongated structure presents additional challenges during production and requires great skill from our maestro mezcalero, Fortino Ramos.
The result is an exceptional mezcal with a vibrant, earthy profile that captures the essence of the agave and the craftsmanship behind every bottle.
